Which devices does Momiji Frame run on?
Windows, Mac, Linux, iPad and Android tablets. One license covers all of your devices.
Does it work with my drawing tablet?
Yes. Momiji Frame supports any pressure-sensitive drawing tablet or stylus — including Wacom, XP-Pen, Huion, Apple Pencil and Samsung S Pen.
Is it a one-time purchase?
Yes. The Animator license is a one-time purchase that includes 12 months of updates and is yours to keep. After that, the optional Update Pass ($29/year) brings new releases. If you prefer, Pro is available monthly or yearly for cloud AI and sync — and the yearly plan leaves you with a perpetual license after 12 months.
How does cloud AI work?
Cloud AI is optional. Animator and Pro include on-device AI; some features can also run in the cloud for extra speed and quality. Each plan includes a cloud allowance: 50 credits to try on Learn, 300 with Animator, and 1,000 per month with Pro.
Is the AI on by default? Can I turn it off?
It starts off. Every AI feature is opt-in and can be switched off again at any time, per project or app-wide. Momiji Frame is a full hand-drawn animation app without it.
Is my work used to train AI?
No. Your drawings, projects and voice tracks are never used to train AI models.
Who owns the work I create?
You do. Everything you draw and animate in Momiji Frame belongs to you.
Does it have symbols, tweening or vector layers like Adobe Animate?
Not yet. Momiji Frame focuses on hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation today. Symbols, tweening and vector layers are on our roadmap to explore — tell us what you need so we can prioritise.
Are there education discounts?
